15 years ago, the Jeep design team thrilled participants of the 43rd annual Easter Jeep Safari with the radically modified Jeep Wrangler Lower 40. The two-door Lower 40 rolled at normal height to maintain its center of gravity, sporting huge 40-inch mud-terrain tires and a 5.7-liter V8 engine under the hood for immense power. The Lower 40 became an instant classic, remaining a crowd favorite and one of the fan favorites of all Easter Jeep Safari concepts even a decade and a half later. The new Low Down Concept pays homage to the Lower 40, as the new Wrangler mounts massive 42-inch BFGoodrich Krawler 42x14.5R20 mud-terrain tires on 20-inch beadlock wheels under custom carbon fender flares. The stock Wrangler Rubicon 392 suspension remains, but the Dana 60 axles with 5.38 gearing replace the standard Dana 44 axles with 4:10 gearing. By increasing the tire diameter and shortening the front and rear bumpers, the Low Down keeps its center of gravity low while significantly increasing ground clearance, brake protection, as well as approach and departure angles. The deep Poison Apple Red painted body is optimized by removing the rear door handles, a custom carbon hood with a transparent power dome, and a custom race-style fuel door. The interior features custom black leather seats with fabric inserts, a custom instrument panel without a radio, and a specially made red-tinted bikini top. Like its predecessor, the Lower 40, the Jeep Low Down is powered by a 475-horsepower 6.4-liter V8 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (length/width/height: 5469/1921/1510 millimetres) is a classic three-box saloon. Distinguishing features at the front include the distinctive bonnet with a chromed fin and the Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille. This is highly recognisable by its vertical, three-dimensional trim strips. The word mark MAYBACH is elegantly integrated into the chrome surround of the grille. It features a fixed quarterlight in the C-pillar. Exclusivity is emphasised by the Maybach brand logo on the C-pillar. On request, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be equipped with electrically operated comfort rear doors. The exclusive appearance of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be enhanced by a two-tone paint finish with a dividing line which is applied by hand to the highest quality standards. This is available as optional equipment, as is the DIGITAL LIGHT headlamp technology. This allows new functions, e.g. the projection of guidelines or warning symbols onto the road ahead. DIGITAL LIGHT has a light module with three extremely powerful LEDs in each headlamp, whose light is refracted and directed by 1.3 million micro-mirrors.
The future of Volvo Cars is electric and the new Volvo C40 Recharge is the latest manifestation of its commitment to a zero emission future. The C40 Recharge has all the benefits of an SUV but with a lower and sleeker design. It is based on the CMA vehicle platform and the first Volvo model in history designed as pure electric only. Following the introduction of the XC40 Recharge and now the C40 Recharge, Volvo Cars will roll out several additional electric models in coming years. Already by 2025, it aims for 50 per cent of its global sales volume to consist of fully electric cars, with the rest hybrids. By 2030, it plans for every car it sells to be pure electric.
