Power can never be enough in a sports car. That's why the BRABUS engine engineers developed the BRABUS PowerXtra B40S-750 Performance Upgrade for the four-liter V8 biturbo engine of the GT 63 coupe. Two BRABUS special turbochargers with a larger compressor unit and modified core assembly replace the standard chargers. Additionally, two BRABUS control modules are adapted to the engine electronics using plug-and-play technology, injecting special maps for injection, ignition, and boost pressure regulation into the system. After installation, 121 kW / 165 PS more peak power and 100 Nm more torque are available. The high-tech lubricants for the entire drivetrain come from technology partner MOTUL. As an ideal complement to the engine tuning, the stainless steel BRABUS sports exhaust system with four carbon-clad tailpipes is recommended. This exhaust system optimizes the performance of the V8 engine and offers active sound management between a discreet 'Coming Home' mode and a particularly powerful V8 sound with open exhaust flaps. With 552 kW / 750 PS at 6,100 rpm and a maximum torque of 900 Nm at only 4,000 rpm, the tuned all-wheel-drive sports car sprints to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 315 km/h. Alternatively, there is also the BRABUS PowerXtra B40-650 performance kit with 478 kW / 650 PS and 850 Nm of torque. Particularly lightweight yet extremely durable carbon, as used in Formula 1, was chosen as the material for the BRABUS aerodynamic components. The elements developed in the wind tunnel not only give the two-door car an even more exciting, BRABUS-typical design but also optimize aerodynamics. All body parts can be ordered in visible carbon with a high-gloss or matte finish or, of course, painted in the vehicle or contrasting color.
