Eva Umlauf, President of the International Auschwitz Committee, addressed around 250 students from the Vocational School Center in Bietigheim-Bissingen on Monday. The Slovak-German pediatrician and psychotherapist survived Auschwitz as a two-year-old with her mother. At the Bietigheim school, she talked about why giving up in life was never an option for her and why young people should be very vigilant at the moment.
