Pilot crashes small plane into canal wall during emergency landing in Arizona
A small plane made an emergency landing on a canal bank in Mesa, Arizona, on November 17 after reporting engine trouble. While attempting to land on the path, the single-engine Piper PA-28 struck a dividing wall and damaged a gas line. Luckily, the pilot and passenger escaped unharmed. FAA officials say the aircraft was registered to a nearby flight school.
