Supporters of Colombian ex-president Alvaro Uribe march in the capital, Bogota, after a court turned down his request to be granted temporary freedom while appealing his sentence of 12 years' house arrest. Uribe, Colombia's president from 2002 to 2010, was convicted of attempting to bribe witnesses in an investigation into his links with paramilitaries.
