After the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, there is growing international concern about chaos in Syria. On Sunday, Israel occupied the demilitarized buffer zone adjacent to the Israeli-annexed Golan Heights. Israeli warplanes attacked several army bases and weapons depots throughout the country, also targeting sites in Damascus.
