Audi skysphere concept - 465 kW power - the drive

Source: AutoMotoTV (Glomex)

The Audi skysphere is powered by an electric motor positioned on the driven rear axle. 465 kilowatts of power and 750 Newton meters of torque have an easy time with the roadster, which weighs around 1,800 kilograms. The weight distribution of around 60 percent on the driven rear axle allows for rich traction and - if required - acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds. The battery modules of the Audi skysphere are positioned primarily behind the cabin - an ideal arrangement for the center of gravity and agility. Further modules are located between the seats in the center tunnel of the skysphere interior - again a position chosen in favor of dynamics. The battery's capacity can be expected to be more than 80 kWh - and thus a range - at least in the economical GT mode - of more than 500 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
