For years, inadequate range and the lengthy recharging process were the major shortcomings of electric vehicles. With the ID.4, that is largely a thing of the past. The e-SUV also handles long distances with ease. In the ID.4 1ST models, a battery with a net energy content of 77 kWh serves as power storage. It provides a range of up to 522 kilometers (WLTP). At a DC fast-charging station, for example from Ionity, the ID.4 with the 77 kWh battery can recharge DC for the next 320 kilometers (according to WLTP) in around 30 minutes - with up to 125 kW charging power. Sufficient battery capacity, fast charging, plus a spacious interior and a generous trunk with 543 liters of capacity make the ID.4 the ideal touring vehicle. For those with even more luggage: A roof box can be easily installed on the standard roof rails.
