Dog injured after fall in Arizona wilderness rescued by helicopter crews
Three hikers wandering through the Superstition Mountains in Arizona on October 10 were forced to call emergency services after their dog suffered an injury. Reports say the dog fell an unknown distance and was no longer able to walk. Rescue crews flew out with a helicopter and hoisted the dog into the cabin, taking him to safety before reuniting him with his owner. The dog was taken to an emergency veterinarian for his injuries.
