Wim Wenders awarded Japanese "Nobel Prize of the Arts"

German director Wim Wenders has been awarded the Japanese cultural prize Praemium Imperiale, known as the Nobel Prize of the Arts. He is one of the artists who have helped to "enrich the global community," according to the Japan Art Association.
