Of course, the Renault 5 E-Tech is produced in France – and in a particularly sustainable way. The vehicle is manufactured at the ElectriCity Renault production center in northern France, with a close network of sites and suppliers all within a radius of 300 kilometers. The assembly of the vehicles and batteries takes place at the Douai plant, one of the production sites of the original Renault 5. The electric motor, including the reduction gear and power electronics, is produced in Cléon, while the battery modules will be produced from summer 2025 as part of the partnership with AESC at the Douai Gigafactory. Thanks to the expertise of the Renault Group subsidiary specialized in circular economy, "The Future is NEUTRAL," the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric achieves a recycling rate of at least 88.6 percent. This includes 19.4 percent recycled materials and 26.4 percent of materials recovered from the circular economy – record values for its category. Like its predecessor, the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric has everything it needs to assert itself today. It is a convincing response to the technological, societal, and ecological challenges of modern mobility.
