The optional offering 'BMW Digital Premium' enables BMW customers with the BMW Operating System 9 to access an expanded range of the BMW ConnectedDrive Store. This offers not only on-demand functions for the vehicle but also a constantly growing range of third-party apps in the areas of music, news, and gaming for the infotainment system. Through this channel, additional games are now coming to the vehicle, which can also be played with full-fledged gaming controllers in the future. At CES 2024, BMW is presenting such a gaming experience for the first time: 'Beach Buggy Racing 2' offers customers an action-packed racing game experience reminiscent of the great console classics. In split-screen mode, two players in the vehicle can compete against each other with their gaming controllers. Common, Bluetooth-enabled gaming controllers can be connected to the infotainment system in just a few steps. The controller connection will be available over-the-air for BMW Operating System 9 in the course of 2024.
