In the appeal proceedings in the case of the drugged and raped Frenchwoman Gisèle Pelicot, the judges increased the prison sentence of the sole defendant. Husamettin D. was sentenced to ten years in prison. The presiding judge in Nîmes announced this. The convicted person must also undergo treatment for five years.
