Scholz hopes for an early decision on new US aid for Ukraine

During talks with US President Joe Biden in Washington, Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) emphasized the urgency for the US Senate to approve further aid for Ukraine. Without the US contribution, "the situation for Ukraine would be very, very difficult", said Scholz.
